Spinning Hungry

DJs aren’t exactly known for being the most socially conscious creatures having walked this planet, but for a fourth year running they’re putting up a united front against famine.

A concept that started at Convent de Sant Agusti as an afterthought to La Mercé, has really found its own legs over the last two years while held at Mercat de Sant Antoni. With renovation work taking place, this year the festival has moved to Les Encants.

The electronic and visual arts festival features two stages with a mouthwatering line-up including Dutch cult DJ Secret Cinema as well as local heavy weights like Paco Osuna and fresh blood like Electroputas.

The objective is to raise a minimum of EUR 21,102 towards initiatives addressing local hunger issues. With all net proceeds from tickets and sales from the food & drinks stands going to this cause, eat and drink your heart out and for once feel good about it.
