Red Bull Gives You Swing.

Yes, it's pure and shameless branding.  The Austrian makers of that wing-giving elixir have come up with a way for us party-lovers to think of them at the slightest pang of thirst or discreet yawn: the Red Bull Music Academy, which has now landed in Barcelona.

At least it'll inject a bit of life into the shabby Fabra i Coats textile factory and into the city too.  Two armies of 64 scholarship winners from some 36 countries (from Kazakhstan to Colombia) have been locked up in a kind of monastery, full of visual art and sound studios and are given an intensive master class by industry heavyweights.

Take note though, the place is only open to the press and a select few other, so you'll have to stay hot on their track and keep close to their party beats.

And guys: enjoy the factory. Cuz when this is all over, the energy-drink people may take their wings and fly somewhere els
