Face The Music

"Just show some more tit," my friend suggested, offering advice on how to distract attention away from a zit that in a big way was announcing its coming of age on my forehead.
Oh yes, that age-old distract-and-divert trick, works like a charm every time. Lick your lips, sway your back, clench your buttocks up and out, and thrust your boobs forward, and you could have a zit the size of small country with nobody noticing.
And tomorrow, the metro of Barcelona is thrusting her chest forward and revealing more cleavage than the pushy Romanian hookers on Las Ramblas, as the sixth Festival Músicos en el Metro opens. Overlook the broken aircon, over-crowded carriages and imminent price rises - we're getting you free live music, folks!
So for three days during the evening rush hour, passengers passing through Universitat station can climb the escalators to a proper soundtrack.
Me, I'll be swaying to jazz tunes at Casa Fuster's Jazz Club which is back in session on Thursdays. Nearest metro: Diagonal.
