Artfutura 2008: Gamely Pixels

Yep, the videogames section of any store is destined to keep growing. This sector's health is guaranteed, even in Spain, if the winners of ArtFutura are to be taken as reference. Most of the prizes stayed local.

  • Shutter Bugged

The masterminds behind PHotoEspaña and the annual cult mag Matador, marked their 15th anniversary by opening a Barcelona branch, complete with gallery, bookshop, café and an event space.

  • Hoss Call

As catalogues go, Daniel Riera’s work with Tamsin Egerton for Hoss Intropia was real fine. But his exhibition in Hoss’ private showroom shows why he’s one of our favourite photographers these days.
