Re-run

Getting up to the bar last weekend, the bartender started serving me my usual vodka tonic before I'd even opened my mouth. With my usual brand. But the strangest thing is, I went on to a different bar, and there the same thing happened.

Wow, some memory those barmen must have. At least better than mine, as I remember little of what happened later that evening. Or, it could simply be that I've turned into a predicable creature of habit (what exactly is this 'stoli-sponge', that I always hear the barstaff talking about?). Not that that's necessarily a bad thing.

The second vodka, for example, is usually more fun than the first. And when you get to the fifth, it's quite handy not having to think about what you're meant to be ordering. Maybe it's something similar that makes people go see the Rocky Horror Picture Show again and again.

Every month the fan club meets to sing along with Dr Frank. N. Furter - which is all a bit much for me, personally. And yet I might just start making a habit of its annual Halloween party, and so never again have to stress about where to celebrate the dead. In fishnets.
