Swede Love

Adored by Wallpaper*, good-looking, stylish, and the epitome of everything cool. At some point in the late nineties, it seemed like the Swedes could do nothing wrong. Then the honeymoon haze lifted, and we found ourselves left with mundane flatpacks, cheapish clothing and slightly boring cars.
The hangover shouldn’t come as a surprise, though. This, after all, is a country where wine is chosen on a value-for-money, alcohol-content basis, and a "religious holiday" means "let's get p*ssed".
But every love affair needs to be occasionally reminded of what the attraction was in the first place. And tomorrow, you can fall in love with those lanky blondes all over again at the From Sweden With Love night at Gente de Pasta IDEP, showcasing young and promising Swedish talent.
Bubbles will be on tab from Miniblack and, whilst it may sound like a '60s skin flick, we’re afraid that the only turn-ons will be the design on display (they do say that even hugging is reserved for foreplay that far North).
