Rasero: Mini Sculptures
My clumsy hands make me envious (in a good way) of those who possess the dexterity to work with miniatures.
Not unlike those bottled ships that I used to see as a child, the pieces that Miguel Rasero is exhibiting require a lot of skill, but a lot more bits than just recycled wood, glass and clear plastic. These show small details of a minute, utopic architecture.
Even the name of the gallery pays homage to this show: Trama means plot, weave. These are little dream stories woven around scale models. Worth looking out for in this narrow street in Ciutat Vella.
