| | Murmuri means to murmur in Catalan and, while there’s little grumble about here, being able to do it audibly in the middle of busy Rambla de Catalunya is something of a miracle. This new hotel designed by Nelly Hoppen – better known for BA’s first class cabin and the Beckhams’ LA mansion – is something else. Three doors lead you variously to the reception, bar or restaurant, where Thai chef Ian Chalermkittichai reveals his love for the city which has kept him from checking in on his businesses in New York more than once a month. | | More hotels |
