| | Eixample is the Barcelona neighbourhood where all the buildings look the same, and you end up walking twice the distance because you have to do huge circles at every crossing. Making a restaurant stand out here is doubly hard because not only do all the buildings look the same, but most of the locales are all of the same tubular shape, too – narrow and deep, not unlike a Manhattan railroad flat. This place has managed to create a warm, chilled vibe, that’s difficult to pin down – but what did you expect from somewhere that labels itself as a fusion of Saigon, New Orleans and Vietnam? The concept mostly works surprisingly well, although opinions are a bit split as to whether this is due to, or in spite of, the chatty host. | | More restaurants |
