The proximity to the aquarium and setting within the suburban-feeling Maremagnum shopping mall make Elx a surprising find: arguably one of the best paella-making kitchens in town, and a world away from the picture menu type of establishments you’d expect to find here.

Hailing from Valencia – as any credible paella-maker should – the owners completely refurbished in 2006 and now offer one of the best dining experiences around. While its sister restaurant in Poble Sec may be equally good, here you get the added attraction of the spectacular sea views.
