Cecilia Sörensen

Cecilia SörensenCecilia Sörensen (Helsinki 1976), winner of the ‘Barcelona ES Moda’ prize 2008 and the ‘Young Designer of the Year’, ModaFAD, prize in 2002, has her company and the shop, Comitè, since 2002, and she is also co-owner of Bingo Shop, opened in 2006, both situated in Barcelona. Previously she designed for Antonio Miró.

She graduated as BA in Fashion Design in 2001 in Barcelona, a degree started in Britain. Previously she had studied tailoring in Helsinki, Finland. Cecilia Sörensen has shown her collection several times at Circuit, ModaFad, Pasarela Gaudí and 080 Fashion / Barcelona Fashion Week, and at Bread& Butter Barcelona and Berlin.

Currently the Cecilia Sorensen collection is exhibited in Paris twice a year since 2006, and she has also participated with a video show at the London Fashion Week in 2008. The collection is sold in Spain, France, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Finland, Sweden, Japan and in the USA.
