For regulars at Anna Hansen's three-storey Georgian townhouse, brunch doesn't mean omelette Arnold Bennett, but rather sugar-cured prawn omelette. Modern Pantry's relaxed, globe-trotting style and bold use of herbs and exotica make this one of the zingiest brunches in London: try tea-smoked salmon on English muffins with yuzu hollandaise, or grilled chorizo with plantain fritters. Bonus: it goes on until 4pm.

Top Tip:

What you might not know is that you can also order plain old boiled egg with Marmite soldiers, and a top-quality full English, with a nice cup of Earl Grey.
