This is the first time the Winter X Games are in Europe, and with Oakley as an eyewear sponsor, and freestyle ski and snowboarders pouring in to compete, this is one winter event to put in the diary.

So you’re too late to enter into the jib vid contest (contestants were given 28 hours to team up with two mates to create an innovative two minute film about boarding, with 10,000 euros up for grabs), but get out there in time to catch the final screenings and various other parties and events.
