Remember when Microzine launched?

I do, and I remember thinking, damn, what a concept. Wish I had thought of that.

Great space and idea it was, great location it wasn't.

Luckily, though, location's the easy part to fix; and now they have. Tomorrow sees the launch of ONE - a collaboration with Microzine and Exposure; same Microzine spirit, different postcode.

The space is gallery-esque and the finds the usual über limited edition treats. Highlights of current stock include adidas/mcm collaboration kicks (there are only 125 in the world and they have five here), vintage Eames and even a '79 Björn Borg tracksuit (a definite upgrade from the neighbouring Topman trackies).

Little Portland Street's on fire right now - what with the triple treat of Exposure (check out the windows right now - fabulous technicolour glitter pieces!), Annex 3 (larger than life restaurant for the larger than life trois garçons), and now ONE - I'd put money on the fact that real estate's on the ups.

All it needs now is a member's bar, inde coffee and corner shop, and then there'd really be no need to leave.
