Review: One-Man Star Wars Trilogy
May the Force be with ya

Ok, this is going to hurt. Especially my sister who so dutifully took on her appointed role as an Ewok Halloween of '86 while yours truly rocked the side buns (it's not my fault I was born a princess!), but I'm just not into Star Wars. Sorry boys.

So when I was asked if I would like to go see the One-Man Star Wars Trilogy at the Garrick theatre last eve, I groaned that if I hated it, well, it was only going to be 60 minutes lost of my life.

I gotta tell you, boy was I glad I did. With off-Broadway acclaim and a sold-out Edinburgh run, it's no wonder even Mr. Lucas himself has taken notice of the über talented Charles Ross. He gives one of the best solo performances I have ever seen as he slipped effortlessly between Jabba and the gang with clarity and precision keeping even us who don't carry the Force in our hearts completely engaged and laughing my tush off.

He even makes a great Princess Leah - I'm jealous!

One-Man Star Wars Trilogy @Garrick Theatre
