I'd like to pretend I have a healthy diet, but the truth is, whole weeks can go by without a fresh fruit or vegetable passing my lips. It's not that I don't like fruit and veg, well, it's just that I don't like it as much as say, cheese, or hot rolls soaked in melted butter, or ice cream.

Usually I'll decide to be healthy, buy all the raw ingredients, which will slowly but surely rot in the fridge, because I forget one important factor: I'm never home. And, if I am, I sure don't feel like carrots. No, I feel like pizza.

So, in attempt to clean up my diet of croissants, chocolate and biscuits, I pledge to eat healthy for a week - this clearly coincides with a hot date, you understand. I also decide not to drink.

But then the good people from a new company Muddler send through some information, and free samples. It really is my journalistic duty to test new products - especially alcohol products - for you. And the good news is that they are made out of fresh fruit (and a little bit - a splash, really - of rum) so it's not like I'm cheating.

But after drinking three muddlers, my resolve completely goes and I eat the whole tub of Ben and Jerry. Which was my flatmate's. Sorry, Em.
