Pedal Power
Rouleur is a stylish cycling magazine that's teamed up with equally au courant cycling apparel designer Rapha to stage an exhibition at Host Gallery. The exhibition brings together photos from Rouleur photographers (as featured in its new book), plus a chance to preview / buy the coolest kit on two wheels from Rapha's new collection.

If you haven't joined the hordes of cyclists evading London's killer bendy buses yet, then this is the weekend. The Cycle Show at Earl's Court is exhibiting all types of bike ranging from psycho-cycle-courier-style racers, to land Rover Discovery on two wheels style off-roaders, to the most laid-back, basket-on-the-front designer hippy style Amsterdam mobiles.

The exhibition will feature six Rouleur photographers, and the prints are available to buy. A 250 page annual of Rouleur photography will also be launched at the event.

Serpentine Gallery Experiment Marathon
Sounding like a cross between an episode of Blue Peter and a school disco in an art gallery (kissing booths & out-of-body experiences?), the Serpentine Gallery Experiment Marathon, could be the perfect antidote to all that po-faced art taking place elsewhere this weekend - if you see a nutter crawling along the floor dragging a crucifix/ chandelier/ dead rat you can be sure it's performance art this weekend, especially if you're in Hackney.

Seriously, the Experiment Marathon features some very grown-up and very talented artists, scientists, and architects performing under the direction of curator Olafur Eliasson (he of the sun in the Tate Modern). Experiments will explore 'ideas of time, space and reality through models, vibrations and perception,' investigating Eliasson's assertion that 'What we have in common is that we are different.' Sounds just like how we felt at school discos.

Time:
Sat 13 & Sun 14 Oct (Sat 12pm - Sun 3pm)
Place:
Serpentine Gallery, Kensington Gardens, W2 3XA
Cost:
£15-35
