Harvey Nic's Fifth Floor terrace has pulled out all the stops, providing not just a range of hot cocktails like a Nutty Irishman (whiskey, brown sugar, cream, Frangelico) and Cinnamon Toast (cider, cinnamon schnapps, vodka) but also heaters and blankets to keep the chills at bay.

Being a big fan of Club Gascon I also like the sound of the winter wonderland-style party that Les Clan des Canailles (The Rascals' Club) are throwing this coming weekend. A sprinkle of elf-dust is being scattered over Cellar Gascon to turn it into an 'enchanted Christmas forest' and enticing tapas (scallops, sweet spices and lemon pulp) and drinks (La Vie en Rose - vodka, rose syrup, strawberries) will be served.
