The New Supe

Graphic design is a funny old game; you don't get many graph design 'slebs' that make themselves a household name.

Maybe that's about to change - is 2008 the year of the graff superstar?

First in line, undoubtedly, must be illustrator extraordinaire Kate Moross (not to be confused with La Moss). Whilst you might not have heard of her before, chances are you've seen her work. In addition to Cadbury's swirly billboard campaign last summer, she's lent her canny hand to a Klaxon's album, a Don't Panic poster, a Sony spread for Vice, and more clients than her scant 21 years should permit.

The girl is evidently one step away from super brand status, having recently established her own record label Isomorphs amongst her many endeavors - I personally can't wait for the day we get the Kate Moross fragrance!

So if this queen bee of London's graff/illustration scene peeks your fancy, then stroll by Topshop's window today and tomorrow to see her launch her new, psychedelic capsule collection with a 'live art' event - expect doodling a plenty and a residence that lasts longer than two minutes. You wouldn't get that from Kate Moss now, would you?

Moross S/S 08 capsule collection for TopShop launches today at Topshop Oxford Circus.
Freebies (original artwork from Kate AND a free Sharpie pen, woohoo!) for the first 25 customers
