Working within the concept of contrast the collection showed feminine silks against sharp wool with a hint of leather. Within a mainly monochrome palette the romantic tones of dark and twilight blues, damson, saffron and slate offered subtle colour play.

Above all the contrast between tailored elements against  volume and ruffles characterises a darker intellegent view of womenswear. Panelling and belting control whilst whispers of fluid fabric are released into ruffles and cascades. The waist remains a key focus of control with trousers in softer shapes yet tapered at the ankle and looped fringed scaves again play with volume and shape.

Contrast again shows in colour flash for linings which were especially successful when black charmeuse was used to line a reconstructed sharp white tuxedo jacket.

Women whose perfection has a darker side seemed to echo rock heroines or maybe just the leading lady of a complex screenplay or photoshoot - there is definately a story behind this designers collection and its creative elements. The concept appeared to contrast a strong woman in attitude and yet she is a woman with mystery.
