GET SMART

It's time to get organised for the big O

When to party? What to see? Where to watch? Who to cheer? Questions, questions, and the only answer we have is to get smart and get organised. And not just with transport. If you want to make the most of London for the next two weeks, a detailed timetable is necessary – cultural offerings, sporting events, visiting the Olympic Park to see Anish Kapoor's sculpture, AND partying. Good luck!

WHERE TO WATCH:
. . .
No tickets, no matter. Screens will be popping up across London from Friday. See all the events and both ceremonies at Hyde Park (the biggest screen), Victoria Park, or the London Pleasure Gardens, or if you want to take shelter try The Drift in the Heron Tower (and head to the rooftop to check out Sushisamba for alfresco sushi afterwards).

London Pleasure Gardens, Royal Victoria Dock, E16 2BS
The Drift, Heron Tower, 110 Bishopsgate,

Covent Garden finally seems to be getting some fashion forward footfall, after a fresh lick of sartorial paint this summer. Almost overnight there's been a flurry of stampede-inducing pop ups: H&M sportswear, Chanel beauty and the much anticipated Opening Ceremony. You'll find us at Mishkin's surrounded by OC bags. Elbows at the ready.

PARTY:
. . .
If you missed out on Puma Yard tickets, it's not too late to make alternative party plans. Try house at Arkhive's Real Opening Ceremony, a warehouse all-nighter at The Rhythm Factory, a disco marathon at Mylo's next ECC, or a rooftop party at Netil 360. There are still tickets left for the Coca Cola Torch Relay Finale on Thursday (with Ronson and Dizzie), and we've got four pairs of tickets to give away for The Fringe's Opening Ceremony Party on Friday.
. . .
For a chance to win a pair of tickets for
The Fringe, simply email competition@urbanjunkies.com by Thursday 26 with your name and telephone number
