We've got a super eclectic mix on our hands this weekend. We're channeling street on Friday – pork buns followed by 1980s vogueing – enjoying a boozy Saturday with a new meal time (drunch) and house party, and going all out classy on Sunday with Dior followed by some Venezuelan conducting. Plus a mix, products and Tokyo's latest stores. If you're in Miami for Music Week, then ignore us and check out our roundup here.

LAST CALL

7 Wallace at Love & Liquor

If you haven't yet made it to man-of-the-moment Idris Elba's seven-week residency at Love & Liquor, this weekend's your last chance. Get down to his edit of hip-hop, UK and US Garage (he used to run his own pirate radio show, FYI) and expect extra-special guests for a final blowout (we hear Norman Jay MBE and DJ Spoony). Not your bag? Then there's a Rihanna-themed party next week.

FRIDAY

EAT:
YUM BUN
  PARTY:
LOW POP UP AT SUPPERCLUB

Street foodie stalwart Yum Bun has finally found a roof-covered home, courtesy of Rotary Bar & Diner (to which there is a connecting door). Serving their signature pork and mushroom buns with some rotating specials (and maybe even an ice cream bun, so the rumour mill says), it will be open 'til late. Post-party pork buns and beer followed by cocktails in Rotary? See ya there.   Don the denim-on-denim for Supperclub's debut party with Low Pop Up (from the people behind Mayfair's Low Members' Club). Low's travelling pop up brings the best underground talent to unexpected locations in West London. The series kicks off with Maestro, a party dedicated to celebrating the spirit of early 80s house music from New York with headliners System of Survival. Vogueing 'til the early morn.

SATURDAY

DRUNCH:
LE DRUNCH WITH MAILLE
  PARTY:
DIRTYBIRD PLAYERS CLUB WITH MIXMAG

That's right, drunch. Not a typo. The best thing since sliced baguette to arrive from Paris, this lunch-dinner hybrid (also referred to as "linner") has been championed by two Michelin-starred chef Hélène Darroze (the breakfast chef of London's Connaught). Think delicious provincial cuisine such as low-cooked lamb Parmentier and sautéed crab cakes, all washed down with Muscadet and Pinot Noir. Tickets are hot property – it's a free event – but we've got a table for two at 3pm on Thursday March 21st to give away. Simply email competition@urbanjunkies.com for a chance to win.   Claude VonStroke's San Fran-born label Dirtybirds is bringing its Players Club to town (Village Underground to be exact). VonStroke will headline with his bootylicious brand of bass-inflected ghetto tech, while mainstays Justin Martin, Eats Everything and Catz 'n Dogz will support. Or you could always join them in Miami for their infamous BBQ session…

TEA:
DIOR CAFÉ AT HARRODS
  MUSIC:
GUSTAVO DUDAMEL AT BARBICAN

Harrods is getting a dose of a little French Savoir Faire thanks to Dior. As part of this month's huge scale Dior takeover, there'll be a Salon de Thé with a menu based on Monsieur Dior's 1972 recipe book. Dine on black truffle omlette, a lobster club sandwich and peach and strawberry soup before perusing the retrospective exhibition, featuring the J'adore scent, Lady Dior handbag and other iconic bits. We're there. (We've already been watching Sofia Coppola's Miss Dior short film on loop.)   Otherwise known as "El Dude", Gustavo Dudamel, the prolific, cool conductor – he pioneered El Sistema, a music school that offers working class children orchestra training in Venezuela – plays with the Los Angeles Philharmonic this weekend. If you missed out on tickets, no worries. They're screening his 2012 Mahler project in Caracas, one of the most ambitious live recordings ever made (with 1400 performers). Or you can always watch his Sesame Street appearance on YouTube.

International PICK

Big Tokyo

Tokyo's fashion kudos is reigning strong. Opening its rice and bamboo doors (yes, really) to the Japanese fashpack is Maison Kitsuné – expect similar Parisian chic as the original, but with added Japanese forward flair (and a café). For Panda and Formichetti enthusiasts, Nicopanda's pop up store at Laforet Harajuku (until March 24) hosts the usual Nicopanda merch, but with special collaborations. And the big move on everyone's radar is Opening Ceremony. The eight-storey flagship is moving from the Shibuya Movida building to the Omotesando area on April 7. Goodbye London, Tokyo's calling.
