As you probably know by now, this year W Hotels have launched a new music series whereby big DJs play pre-club sets for guests at W Hotels across Europe. It launched at IMS in Ibiza and a list of dates and locations are now confirmed. First up this weekend is Grammy award-winning Dubfire at the W Hotel Paris Opéra. If you're planning to go to the event, are in Paris this Friday, or are looking to go to Paris soon, we've got some handy tips from W Insider Cécile, a born-and-bred Parisienne, about the latest happenings and hot spots in the capital. Read on for her Paris hitlist.

EAT:
BREAKFAST | BRUNCH | LUNCH
. . .
For a Parisian breakfast go to Le Richer (2 rue Richer 75010) for the best coffee (from Coutume Café) and "pain grille" with butter and marmalade. For a longer, Sunday brunch it has to be Arola at the W (4 rue Meyerbeer 75009) for the new "Brunch Couture", where upcoming French designers are invited to show their collections during brunch. For lunch, take a stroll down Rue des Vinaigriers – which has lots of new generation, small, designer shops – before settling down at Le Petit Matieu (55 Rue des Vinaigriers 75010). It's simple, casual French food – and the "Terrine Maison" is a must.

EAT:
DINNER
. . .
Pamela Popo (15 rue François Miron 75003) – named after a not-so well-known song by Serge Gainsbourg – is a fun spot where you eat great food (there's lots of fish on the menu) and meet cool people. Recent, popular restaurant openings include Fish Club (58 rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau 75002), by the team of the famed Beef Club and Ballroom du Beef Club, and Monsieur Bleu (pictured) (13 Avenue du Président Wilson 75116), the latest restaurant in the new wing of the Palais de Tokyo. If you want a late-night supper, go to La Poule au Pot (9 rue Vauvilliers 75002), open every day (except Monday) until 5am. It's a real institution.

PARTY:

. . .
There's been quite a revolution concerning nightlife in Paris. Le Coq (12 Rue du Château d'eau 75010) is a newly opened speakeasy from the team behind London's 69 Colebrooke Row, with great cocktails. A night in SoPi (the South Pigalle area) is also a fun night out, with hip bars like Le Glass and Dirty Dick (7 & 10 Rue Frochot 75009) and nightclub Le Carmen (34 rue Duperré 75009). If you like live performance, the W Lounge hosts a lot of upcoming French bands and artists (4 rue Meyerbeer 75009), and the head mixologist is very creative. For hardcore clubbing, Silencio (142 rue Montmartre 75002) is a classic choice, but if you're in the mood for some hip hop, try Titty Twister (5 rue de Berri 75008) or newly reopened Club 79 (22 Rue Quentin-Bauchart 75008).

SHOP:

. . .
There's always something new and quirky at Colette (213 Rue Saint-Honoré 75001), especially their book selection. For fashion it has to be N15 (pictured) (15 Place du Marché Saint-Honoré 75001), Coïncidence (11 rue Chapon 75003) and The Space (21 rue Bonaparte 75006). If you're looking for vintage wares, definitely make a stop at Noir Kennedy (22 Rue du Roi de Sicile 75004). For menswear, check out some upcoming brands such as La Comédie Humaine (24 rue Yves Toudic 75010) and Melinda Gloss (9 rue Madame 75006), and for bits to bring back home, go to design-forward Fleux (39 Rue Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie 75004).
. . .

. . .

GO CRAZY:

. . .
Book a table with your guy or girl at the Crazy Horse show (12 Avenue George V 75008), one of the best shows in Paris. They're always reinventing the show, mixing modern touches with their original DNA – it's a real Parisian experience. Look out for Spoutnik, and a tip – the woman's bathrooms are full of surprises!
. . .

. . .

RELAX:

. . .
A walk through the gardens of the Musée Rodin (79 Rue de Varenne 75007), is great for some time out from city life. If it's spa time you're after, then a holistic massage at the Six Senses spa (3 Rue de Castiglione 75001) could be just the tonic. Its location inbetween the Place Vendôme and the Jardin des Tuileries is an added bonus, too.
