The temperature has dropped, and now our thoughts have turned to cosy knits, hot toddies and winter getaways. We've got the winter wonderland of Verbier on the brain…and good news: if you can't get away before Christmas, the W Republic of Verbier is bringing a taste of the Swiss Alps to you. In anticipation of W's first mountain escape opening, W Verbier is taking over the public area of W-Leicester Square for two weeks, turning the luxury hotel into Soho's very own corner of Switzerland, with a slew of must-attend events on the agenda. The immersive alpine experience will include Verbier-inspired cocktails and lite-bites, a pop up store, nightly screening of winter classics + must-sees, and the much anticipated finals of W Verbier's Search for the Resident DJ (Nov 6-9) all set in mountainscape installations and alpine style.
To celebrate, we are teaming up with W Verbier to break in the Alpine space with an after work soirée next Friday, October 25th and you're invited. Expect snow-cold cocktails (including the gin led Ski Breeze and the Negro-W-Ski), resident DJ Owen Charles on the decks, Swiss inspired snacks, films in the screenings room, plus 100 other Urban Junkies to mingle with. Fun!
