UJ, Dax Ibiza and Love Brunch join forces to host a petition party in lieu of the proposed oil drilling off the coast of Ibiza. Say no to drilling!

If you read UJ, you'll know we love Ibiza. So when we heard about the proposed oil drilling off the coast of Ibiza (read about it here), we knew we had to do something.
Tomorrow night, January 30 we're joining forces with our friends at Dax Ibiza and Love Brunch to host a Petition Party at new club Chakana, and in typical Ibiza style, we'll be adding a bit of fun to the proceedings. There will be sun inspired cocktails generously supplied by Absolut, drink specials from Chakana and DJs on deck to fuel the fire.
To show your support and help us 'say no to oil drilling', all you need to do is sign the Spanish version of the petition three times (so three separate print copies, all with original signatures) and supply a photocopy of your ID (passport or NIE card). You can read the English version here, but only the Spanish one will be counted. Signing online doesn't count legally either.
Sounds tedious? Don't worry, we're here to help.
To join us tomorrow night, all we ask is that you bring three signed copies of the petition and a photocopy of your ID. Don't have a printer? We will have petitions to sign there, as well as a photocopier (thanks to tech gurus A8) should you need assistance. We will have pens – just don't forget your ID!
And the best part? We will post them for you, showing that although they've made it a bit difficult, we aren't put off. Deliciously Sorted has kindly offered to hand deliver our box of petitions ensuring safe delivery, too.
