Let’s have a party:

After hours London

Over the last few years, we’ve seen London wake up. Coffee shops now turn into espresso bars, kitchens have late-night menus, and clubs are staying open post-2am. Now, we’re looking to kick on, in style. From Michelin-inspired meals at 4am to party suites and buses, the once hush-hush after-party scene is, well, no longer hush-hush. Late night parties are not only accessible and affordable, they’re encouraged.

First up we have the traditional after-hours club – but banish thoughts of sticky raves and strobe-lit clubs. The latest opening, APM (Always Past Midnight), is aiming to turn the after-party from sweaty to swanky. Perched on the 31st floor of Centre Point and open between 2.30am and 7am, the late-night lounge is all about good food (haute breakfast inspired-dishes), good tunes, and sleek surrounds. Think Duck & Waffle but with a party vibe.

Next, party suites. Unless you pack Moss status or have a few grand to drop, hotel revelry has been few and far between. Enter The London EDITION, which as you know, is a hotel with Ian Schrager DNA. Meaning, it's built for a party: the corner suite has soundproof walls, the staff are relaxed (read: friends – and friends of friends are welcome), and it even comes at a reasonable nightly rate (approximately £900).

And lastly, transport. Expensive cabs and 11pm tube closures have killed many an after-party. Music to our ears: the Dead Dolls Club may be taking to the roads. We can’t say more at this point except that a Dolls Bus could be in the works, transporting folks from the Hoxton lair to their disco shed in Bethnal Green.

And for those who want to party from time zone to time zone: welcome Uber’s jet service, Black Jet. LAX-JFK-IBZ, here we come!

In the Irish town of Wexford where ‘shot-gun’ weddings are outnumbered only by random acts of violence the pool hall is Jimmy's sanctuary. But will such a place embrace his bright ambition or bring it down, burning to the ground?

Transferring directly to the Trafalgar Studios 2 after its sell out run at groundbreaking writing venue Theatre503. Starring Keith Duffy, artistic director Paul Robinson directs Billy Roche's decade defining play in its first professional solo revival since 1988.

A Handful of Stars Trafalgar Studios, 14 Whitehall, SW1A 2DY. 25 June – 25 July, tickets from £15.00*. Book here (*Booking fees may be included.)
