#LVSERIES3

Fashion week is around the corner – you know the drill: shows by day and parties by night. It’s inspiring. Always is. But this year, it gets better: Louis Vuitton is coming to town via its unconventional exhibition “LOUIS VUITTON SERIES 3”.

Following on from SERIES 1 (Shanghai and Tokyo) and SERIES 2 (LA, Beijing, Seoul and Rome), SERIES 3 will be a celebration of the French house: its style, craft skills, technical display and people; the creative inspiration behind the Autumn/Winter 2015 Louis Vuitton collection.

The 11-room journey over two floors in a former office block opposite Somerset House is set to reinterpret the fashion show and explore every step in the creative process that went towards creating this season's collection – from the stitching of the garments (demonstrated in person) to the ‘Infinite Show’ – a projection of the 48 looks from the collection onto double-sided life-sized screens. And, of course, expect to get up close to all the greats: Nicolas Ghesquière, Bruce Weber and Juergen Teller and the new muse of the maison, Alicia Vikander.

SERIES 3 launches to coincide with London Fashion Week and is expected to attract around 100,000 visitors – but good news, unlike the other fashion exhibitions this year – it’s free admission but make sure to register for your preferred time slot and/or guided tour here.
