| We’ve been fans of Selin Kiazim since her days at Kopapa, so we can’t wait to try her first stand-alone restaurant, Oklava. The menu is her take on Turkish-Cypriot cuisine – lemon sole with charred shallots, parsley and pomegranate dressing, Çemen glazed lamb cutlets and, ticking the trend box, Turkish fried chicken (spiced with chilli and garlic with a za’atar crumb’). |

A pop up bar dedicated to hot booze… sold! The pop up, Hot Booze, will be selling all their favourite winter warmers: hot cream eggnog, hot peanut butter rum, and chocolate salty booze in what they promise will be a kitsch-tastic environment. | We’ve done American fried chicken every which way, and now it’s time for London to represent. Enter Billy and the Chicks, the brainchild of ex-St. John and Salt Yard chef Billy Stock, who, inspired by the South London fried chicken shops of his childhood, has done his own version. Yes, it includes all the wing deals, chicken burgers, and ribs but his version means ethically sourced chicks, twists on classics (three cheese mac ‘n’ cheese, jamon iberico stock beans, stinger burgers) and booze. |
