This might be the ultimate collaboration. Sarabande, the Lee Alexander McQueen Foundation, have teamed up with Bistrotheque to create a seriously impressive festive dining experience. Each dish from the four course menu (which features a selection of canapés, smoked goats cheese, roast beef and fermented apple sorbet) is paired with a specially selected Ketel One cocktail, and all proceeds go to help emerging creatives working with the charity. We’ve got a feeling this is going to sell out quick, so book now!

SEE:GO:
Abstract Expressionism at the RASouth London Record Fair

Take in some culture before December gets going and party season really kicks in. Featuring work from some of the greats including Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock, Clyfford Still and Willem de Kooning, it’s a must-see. Make sure to get down before it closes at the start of 2017. If you missed out on the Independent Label Market last weekend, get your vinyl fix at the south London Record Fair, which comes to Elephant and Castle’s Corsica Studios this Saturday. With stalls from south London institutions Church, Rhythm Section, Rye Wax ad YAM Records, you’ll definitely discover some gems.

TRY:RELAX:
Casa Cruz’s Feasting MenuAt the Table’s Food Salon

Given how hard it is to get a booking at Casa Cruz for dinner, we were pretty excited to hear about the Notting Hill spot’s new weekend lunch menu. Go for the octopus carpaccio or vitello tonato if you want something light, or if you’ve come hungry, go for the feasting menu which offers whole fillets of beef and sea bass. Book now before everyone else does. In need of a break from hectic Christmas shopping? Take refuge in At the Table’s salon in Soho. Offering a foodie’s take on a 17th century literary salon, The Food Salon is a place to relax and unwind. Intellectuals can engage in talks and debates about British food culture and listen to prose readings, or you can just curl up on an armchair and enjoy a good cuppa and some seriously well-curated magazines in the reading room.
