SHOP:WATCH:
Fashion East at SelfridgesThe Berkeley’s Rooftop Cinema

Finally, all of London’s best new designers in one place. Known for fostering some of the best British design talent (think J.W Anderson, Simone Rocha and Roksanda Ilincic) Fashion East has found a new home in Selfridges’ designer studio (#UJloves). Lulu Kennedy has curated a selection of the Fashion East gang – past and present – including Ashley Williams, Craig Green and Christopher Shannon. A rooftop cinema in this weather might sound crazy, but the Berkeley have got it sorted. Accommodating just eight people per screening in four private log cabins, their pine tree-lined cinema space is super intimate and way cosier than you’d think. Nestle in Moncler blankets with a hot water bottle whist you sip on homemade hot chocolate and mulled wine throughout your film of choice. Sounds better than Netflix and chill. Reservations are taken by phone on 0207 201 1699.

EAT:GO:
Brunch at CorazónJohn Baldessari Exhibition

Since opening at the end of November, Corazon has become one of UJ’s new faves for a taco fix. And now, we’re rejoicing because we’ve just heard that they’ve launched a brunch menu. Mexican brunch classics like huevos rancheros and chilaquiles rojo will be served alongside not-so-traditional bacon, egg and cheese tacos. In need of some culture to kick start your 2017? We’ve got just the thing. Head to the Marian Goodman Gallery in Soho for a rare preview of collage-master John Baldessari’s new work. ‘Miró and Life in General’ pairs paintings from heralded Spanish artist Miró with classic film stills, bringing new meaning to the classic works.
