By now you know we’re looking to Greenwich Peninsula for our culture fix this summer, and with the weather finally heating up, we’re booking in.

As a reminder, Greenwich Peninsula have teamed up with Rosa Park and Richard Stapleton of Cereal magazine to create Abode, a tranquil, minimalist penthouse and terrace right on the water’s edge. Over the next few weekends they’ll be screening a small batch of films in collaboration with Backyard Cinema, creating London’s ultimate ‘backyard’ cinema on the Abode terrace.

Each evening will see Abode open its doors to just 20 guests, featuring a design-led film showing out on the terrace. Think of it as the ultimate night in, complete with prosecco, sweets and popcorn. Guests are invited to grab a drink (gratis) as the sun sets, before finding a seat on the terrace and settling into an evening of ultimate cinema comfort, all taking place against a stunning city backdrop that’s a cinematic sight in itself.

From 7.30pm tonight you’ll find The Neon Demon, a taut, psychological horror film from Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn. Visually stunning, it will be right at home in Abode’s minimalist haven. There are only a few tickets left for this screening, so book in now for a luxe night out, at home in Abode.

Greenwich Peninsula’s summer screenings continue this Friday 26th May until 4th June. Last few tickets remain for The Neon Demon, £25 each from the BYC website, including cinema ticket, food and drinks. Doors at 7.30pm, food is served at 8pm, and the film starts at 9pm
