Zeppelin

Launching last week at the Slaughtered Lamb with a full manifest of cabaret acts – the marvelous Marlene Dietrich, the debonair Dorian Black, and need I mention the delightful dancing girls? – Johnny Vercoutre’s ‘gentlemen only’ Zeppelin club is officially up and away.

ZeppelinPotentially the new evening of choice for the now homeless Modern Times vintage brigade, the night was awash with top hats and military regalia, moustachioed belles, gentlemen and drag kings alike. Chalked as a weekly event, I fear it will be tough to pull off such a success every time and the concept’s longevity remains to be seen. But why worry about the future? For now, just dust of that bowler, work on that half-Windsor, reach for a ‘tache and head over to Clerkenwell, dancing moves at the ready.
