UJ Competition: The 39 Steps

BEST NEW COMEDY – LAURENCE OLIVIER AWARDS 2007

Now listen up Urban Junket people. Old Jonny Buchan and Ally Hitchcock’s spy caper The 39 Steps has only gone and been made into a Larry Olivier award winning comedy stage production. What do you mean you’ve not seen it yet?!

What does one wear when seeing the latest hit show? (set in 1935). Why of course!, one gets down to those jolly clever chaps at Mackintosh to slip on their rubber bonded outwear or coats to you and I (coats hand made in Scotland where they know a thing or two about the rain) that will save your tweeds as your dash from the omnibus to the Criterion theatre for your pre-show cocktail.

But what if you’ve traveled up to town from the provinces? What can you carry your nightclothes in? Well a hand made Globetrotter case that’s what! With it’s unique vulcanized fibreboard material and leather reinforcements at those critical edges you’ll be well armed to do battle with those damned pushy commuters.

And to top it off a hat from the world’s oldest family owned hatmakers – Lock & Co. they’ve been providing hats fit for heroes for over four centuries from the likes of Admiral Lord Nelson, Sir Winston Churchill, Ernest Shackleton and  Anthony Eden….to dare devil young adventurous sorts about town today.....

Yes, that’s right Urban Junkies have got all this to win! Now listen carefully as this is the last time I’ll tell you! The below are up for grabs:

2 tickets to award winning The 39 Steps
A Mackintosh coat
A Globetrotter case
A Lock & Co hat
