Greed and Gluttony

I’m not always this greedy. Really. But when I’m on holiday, all that sharing and caring rubbish goes clean out the window. The whole point is to make it as special as possible, for me, without a bunch of randoms getting in the way of all that luxury.
Born as a collaborative project between Tivoli (the Danish Disneyland) and Løgismose (renowned for its hotel, Falsled Kro), the new, homely, twelve-room boutique Nimb Hotel in Copenhagen is perfect for the kind of deliciously lazy weekends that we all deserve.
At its gourmet restaurant, Chef Thomas Herman serves up a modern take on good old meatloaf and a stack of Danish dishes, whilst in the brasserie, chefs cook right in front of you in little kitchens dotted all around the restaurant.
They’ve even got their own dairy, bottling organic milk, churning butter and producing fresh cheeses. And once you’re done with all that food (and of course the in-house wine cellar) each of the rooms has been made extra comfy for your lounging pleasure.
Greed, gluttony and… gout. You might want to go easy on the ‘me time’ and save this for a well deserved treat, and hey, maybe even bring a friend along. After all, someone’s going to have to wheel me home. I’m so generous.
