Integration Generation

As I write this, I have about ten internet windows open, within each of which there are another 20 tabs, a side order of MSN Messenger, a dash of Outlook, a good smattering of Word documents, and more unfiled images than I know what to do with.

Like so much in my life, my computer is a mess. My personal nemesis, the spinning beach ball of Mac Death, tells me so.

Pretaportobello culled the need to deal with the wretched disorganization of the market rather efficiently, letting me browse London stalls from the calm of my sofa. FabSearch similarly streamlined my holidays by packing travel recommendations from all the experts under one online roof. And MyDeco sorted out the ball of chaos that I call my home with surprising ease.

But what about my need for gossip and fashion trends? Well, with over 500 lifestyle sites integrated into one, including bites from top blogs, online shopping from the likes of Net-A-Porter, and trendcasting from industry experts, the folks at the new Glam.com have got that covered too. And to maintain my standing as a serious journalist, I can now get headlines, updates and business info from news aggregators Do It Straight Up.

Now, if that little lot doesn't deflate the wretched beachball, I don't know what will.
