Woke up this morning, my baby was gone
Woke up this morning, my baby was gone
And she’d taken my money, and run off with my best friend’s son.

Now, you can call me a pessimist if it makes it any easier, but let’s face it: the world is pretty f*cked right now. And all the new-retro ‘80s cheery-pop in the world isn’t going to stop the fact that we’re in a financially-sodomized country run by two-faced thieves and charlatans.

“Hot summer streets and the pavements are burning… The air is so heavy and dry.” Yep, Bananarama may have said it best in Cruel Summer, but lyrics offer no respite from the imminent sun-stroke the NHS is gearing up for.
