Vogue’s September Issue finally lands on Friday the 11th , and to whip you into a Wintour frenzy, the magazine is launching Fashion’s Night Out, offering up enticing treats, discounts, fabulous pop-in parties and surprises galore at various sartorial lairs open until midnight. Make sure to grab a limited edition Vogue designed T-Shirt with 100% of the profit benefiting homeless charity CRISIS. Click through for UJ’s top 5 picks of the night.
The Vogue-a-thon kicks off at 6pm with Burberry, where Editor of Vogue UK, Alexandra Shulman, and genius Creative Director of Burberry Christopher Bailey host a gathering with the likes of Lily Cole and Jade Jagger dropping in for a tipple.
Dover Street Market are doing double celebrations; it’s also their 5th birthday. So, get ready for Nicholas Kirkwood’s first ever shoe space, a bizarre new jewellery window, and most excitingly, the designers behind the eclectic store spaces will be in-situ playing shopkeep for the day – say hello to Chris Kane, Gareth Pugh, Stephen Jones, Peter Jensen, Hussein Chalayan, Marios Schwab and the boys from Peter Pilotto.
Discover your destiny at Liberty for tarot card readings (Roger Vivier will be dabbling in fortune-telling too) and soak up fashion knowledge imparted by Vogue Editors and designer Richard Nicholl, as he discusses his hot new collaboration with Linder Sterling from 7pm – 9pm, before heading to the 2nd floor for a mo-town shake down.
Head to Bond Street to witness a master at work; at Chanel, legendary Fashion Director Kate Phelen will be styling a live fashion shoot of Daisy Lowe modelling highlights from the new AW09/10 RTW collection. Then if you haven’t completely Vogued-out, pop down the road to Alexander McQueen for a live fashion show and the chance to win a bag.
If you fancy a party atmosphere, DKNY has had a clubby revamp and will be turned into a mini Bungalow 8 for its fashion soiree, complete with DJs playing beats and male modelesque waiters serving cocktails and DKNY 20th anniversary champagne.

Then make your excuses and head along to Oliver Sweeney, where you'll find a men's shopping emporium offering complimentary, professional shoe shining services and whisky tasting with the prestigious Balvenie Whisky.
