NOT THE ORIGINAL BURNS NIGHT. MORE ORIGINAL THAN THAT.
Join Urban Junkies and Monkey Shoulder Whisky for a London Burns Night shindig - Monkey style.
Yes it’s cold, yes you’re poor and yes, the nightlife circuit come January is frostier than the Alaskan tundra, but when the temperature dips, you can count on those cheeky chaps at Monkey Shoulder Whisky to bring the heat back into your partyless life. If you thought Burns Night was just for the Scots, think again! Join Urban Junkies and Monkey Shoulder Whisky as we celebrate Burns Night in truly original style. Think rock and roll bagpipes, DJs and salubrious Monkey Shoulder whisky cocktails!
On Monday 25 January we are teaming up with Monkey Shoulder triple malt whisky, to bring the highland fun to the highest point of London’s nightlife circuit — Paramount — on the 31st floor of Centre Point in Soho.
In this amber-lit den you’ll be invited to taste free whisky cocktails such as the Bobby Burns and John Barleycorn created by master mixologist Jamie Forbes. Meanwhile, you can munch on Scottish canapés including Haggis Hors d’œuvres, Monkey Mars Tempura, Ginger Monkey Trifle and other lip-smacking simian treats, as you get down to the unique sounds of bagpipe rockers The Red Hot Chilli Pipers and Edinburgh DJ Group TokyoBlu.
We’re offering you, our bonnie subscribers, the chance to join the Monkey Mob in the Ode to the Haggis at this exclusive event. Because lets face it, with as dead a month as January clogging up our calendars, this is one weekend we’re happy to extend into Monday. So don a wee touch of tartan and join us there!
We have places for 100 lucky subscribers, each with a plus one each, to attend. To register your RSVP for a chance to attend, email: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
