Sleep Over at Shoreditch House

Cabs home after a night out are the bane of my existence. They cost as much as the alcoholic intake that landed me in them in the first place, I inevitably end up putting my feet on something I shouldn’t, and the last time I was in one, the driver handed me a bucket – despite my being sober - as a ‘precautionary’ measure. Nice.

What’s really needed is a cheap but chic little sleepover pad that doesn’t come with a Coyote Ugly bunkmate in the morning. Which is why we’ll be booking into Shoreditch House’s new Rooms.

Open to non-members and starting at a meagre £60 for a ‘Tiny’ (the largest size is a Small+ so inferiority complexes won’t be an issue) these perfect boltholes pack a sizeable punch with vintage phones, wooden shutters, and ‘Borrow Me’ amenities including hot water bottles, books and games. Plus you get full access to the newly re-launched Cowshed Spa (with treatments from a tenner), the rooftop pool and ‘lazy lawn’ (complete with super-plush lounge-beds), and various dining areas.

So sure - cabbies might have The Knowledge – but we’ve just given you the know-how.

Info
Rooms available from 9th April, starting at £60 and going up to £195.

Cowshed Spa open to non-members from 9th April.
