John Space: Plain Space

John Space: Plain Space

Highly acclaimed architect John Pawson takes centre-stage at the Design Museum's next exhibition. Boasting a life-size one-to-one installation of his work, this show will give you a rare chance to see his work so up close you can probably smell it. Best known for his minimalist work, Pawson makes clear his signature trademark of using the reduction process, which is fully reflected in the simplicity, harmony and clean lines of his architecture. His is an impressive body of work that includes the Calvin Klein store on Madison Avenue in NY as well as the Sackler Crossing at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Kew. Well worth a visit for minimalist architecture in its rawest form.

When: 22nd September-30th January, 10am-5:45pm

Pop Up Savoy Truffle Supperclub

Pop Up Savoy Truffle Supperclub

Never was there such a great reason to go to Blackheath and sit in someone else's dining room to eat exquisite food a la carte. The Savoy Truffle Supperclub is somewhat of a little-known secret and a culinary Aladdin's cave. Former Acorn House chef and his partner operate a 15-cover restaurant in their cosy home with the organic veg on the menu coming from their very own garden. As part of the London Restaurant Festival, the Savoy Truffle Supperclub will be giving Londoners the chance to get a taste of their truly jaw-droppingly delicious food (we speak from experience) as their pop-up restaurant will appear in a secret location (yet to be revealed) in North London. Visit the website to find out more. This is not something you should starve your tastebuds of.

When: 13th-17th October
Venue: Savoy Truffle Supperclub, N1
