Connaught Bar

David Collins, creator of such stunning, ostentatious drinkery interiors as the Artesian, Landau, and Blue Bar, has done it again with the cocktail bar at the £70 million refurbed Connaught . It's been a good few months now since its resurrection, and sure the food is something very special, but we're even more pleased to (re)discover that the bar has settled into its shimmering boots, and cannot recommend it enough.
And should you fancy a real treat, arrange to test out the head bartender's table. A twist on the chef's table concept, it will house half a dozen of you and your friends, as the bar woos your palate with only the finest beverages, the experience topped with a unique cocktail, created to your own taste preferences.
So dress up, fork out, and drink up - with every penny spent absolutely worth it (the average cocktail hits the £12-15 mark). For whilst the clientele are generally as stylish and chic as the décor, the cocktails are even more so.
