UJ Loves Robots

Until Wall-E came along with his penchant for Hello Dolly and down-turned puppy dog eyes, the robot thing kind of went over our heads; C-3PO, dirty Bender from Futurama, Doctor Who’s Daleks – no thanks. But now our automaton friends are becoming downright fun and even useful, from the Selfridges bartending robot Mr. Asahi to Viktor, the wall-drawing maestro at the ICA’s A Recent History of Writing and Drawing. And though it may have been a while since Beyoncé and Balenciaga made a splash in those $100,000 metallic leggings, UJ is still loving a bit of cyborg style.
