Le Pont de la Tour was already a weekend fave at UJHQ thanks to its impressive Tower Bridge backdrop and 19th century former tea warehouse setting. And now they’ve stepped it up a gear with brunch. Head chef Julien Imbert has kept things classically French with modern twists: black truffled scrambled eggs on freshly baked brioche already has us corralling friends together for Sunday morning debriefs. But it’s the pain perdu that’s really caught our fancy: Julien’s twist on his family tradition sees slices of brioche dipped into milk and egg, then fried with homemade caramel ice cream. Free-flowing prosecco is available for two hours, alongside Bloody Marys, mimosas, smoothies and juices.
