Only 31, playwright Barney Norris already has a reputation for analysing the modern pastoral, and Nightfall is no different. Now running at The Bridge Theatre until 31st May, Ophelia Lovibond, Ukweli Roach, Claire Skinner and Sion Daniel Young explore the ties of a family struggling to stay afloat on a Winchester farm after the death of their father. Made up of just four long scenes, expect plenty of intensity from Barney’s trademark focus on the particular minutiae of family life.
