XMAS PARTY FAVOURS
You know the drill – long, boozy lunches, Christmas jumper-themed dinners and Secret Santa – ‘tis the Christmas party season. If you’re struggling to reserve tables or are fed up of being chief organiser, we say do it at home with a little help from the experts…
Interview with Michael and Charlotte Sager-Wilde
Sager & Wilde, whose eponymous new pop-up wine bar, appearing weekly at Bird & Ballard (previously The Foundry), is revolutionising London's wine scene. WineChap's went along to the launch, drank some excellent and rare vintages by candlelight and had a chat to the duo behind the event, Michael and Charlotte Sager-Wilde. WineChap's way to do it? Now, there’s a (Mexican) wave (sorry) of new joints opening quicker than you can say dame-una-tequila.
ALL NIGHT LONG
“The city that never sleeps” is a maxim that no longer applies solely to New York. Something odd has been happening in le capital. The post-10pm restaurant slots are always fully booked, coffee shops are offering up cocktails and the midnight feast concept has taken off (finally!). London, it seems, has been getting involved in after dark love.
KOREA GOES POP
We’ve gone a little Korea crazy at UJ HQ. Inspired by the unstoppable PSY and his K-Pop hit Gangnam Style...
