Inhabited by the artist Dennis Severs during the 1960s and 70s, this Georgian terraced house was gradually transformed into the slightly spooky time capsule it is now, encompassing ten rooms through different historical periods in which the fictitious Jervis family apparently still live. Tours are conducted in silence so that visitors will take in the different sounds, smells and sights of the spaces in a kind of ‘still life drama’.
