Having served the Fulham Crowd for the last six years, Sophie’s now has a second outpost in Covent Garden. With it’s trademark no reservation system, sip cocktails at the bar (the bellinis are excellent) whilst you wait for arguably the best steak in town. With massive windows on three sides of the huge 1930’s space, it’s been lovingly restored with a Sophie’s twist; dangling lightbulbs and old train carriage luggage racks overhead give it a cool New York warehouse vibe and chilled out atmosphere, whilst the food is unpretentious, simple stuff whose main focus is on the meat.
