Delicate ruffles and water colour pales were embellished with bold metallic studding to offer a collection of contrasts. from soft floaty shapes to curvaceous dresses. Cascades of ruffles were handled extremely well and never became heavy or lumpy, the collection was kept light and airy with some pieces which were obviously for very special occasions - be it gala, wedding or red carpet awards.
There were two outfits which also spelt out a slightly different view of the designer - a wonderful feather light gold mesh dress over a fluttering silk slip dress which just showed at the hem like ripples of water, and also a softly shaped all in one in the gold mesh with a misty grey ruffled "dinner shirt" blouse.
They had a really special proportion and mood to them as if indicating a new direction for next season for this young designer. One other thing must be mentioned - the back views; this is a designer who helps you make as great an exit as he does entrance with superb details, cut outs, drapes and other back effects which were totally thought through as design features but never overworked.
