Much of the above relates to this collection as well, but there were more pieces to focus on from the seasons looks angle. The simple dresses, often with ties and placed embroidery and lace in tones such as silver on grey or ivory on ivory worked perfectly, they were versatile in their wearabilty; as a short dress or over jeans or even skinny pants perhaps.
The slightly bell silhouettes and the easy 20's shapes were spot on trend and the long trailing hippie dresses were still desirable for many customers. All in all an interesting debut but, as ever, how will these collection fare up against so much competition? It is a difficult market and with a need to make a mark, yet remain both on trend and original. Watch for developments after these interesting catwalk debuts at ONIOFF.
