The Opera Tavern Pre-Launch
Last Wednesday Urban Junkies teamed up with WineChap to celebrate the launch of The Opera Tavern in Covent Garden, and give a handful of lucky subscribers the chance to try out the tapas tasters and our upcoming wine-pairing evenings. Unanimous thumbs up went to the super-moist Iberico mini-burgers, creamy honeyed courgette flowers, salt cod croquettas, and a Scotch quail egg that simply blew us away. And with the ever-knowledgeable WineChaps behind the bar helping to make sense of a flight of eight wines, we sipped our way from Albariño to Grenache. It was an absolute pleasure to have the chance to meet and mingle with so many of our readers, and we hope to get to know lots more of you lovely lot at one of our upcoming events.
